1.
What is the difference between the three Browse Listing options on your web site?
Harmon Homes has three very powerful ways to search for residential and commercial listings. We offer an All Listings Browse, Harmon Homes Print Books Only browse and a Harmon Homes Commercial Listings Browse. The main All Listings Browse is based on Designated Market Areas (DMA), which represents a group of counties from the Hampton Roads area. The second available search is broken down by the Harmon Homes print books distributed in your area. Finally, the third browse option available on our site is a Harmon Homes Commercial Listing Browse, which is based on Harmon Homes commercial property magazines. Take advantage of these Browse Listing options by going to Harmon Homes .com's homepage or by selecting Browse Listings in the left hand navigation menu found on this page.

2.
What extra features does the Enhanced Search offer?
The Enhanced Search found under the "Choose a Designated Market Area" portion of the DMA Browse gives you further options to search our listings by DMA, City, Town or Suburb, Office Name, Agent Name, Price Range or Hampton Roads Harmon Homes ID number from the print books.

3.
What sorting options are available in the Browse Listings pages?
We offer a three-fold way to sort the results of a Browse Listings search. You may choose either Price, by Ascending or Descending, Photo, Listings with Photos, or Last Update, which will display the newest listings at the top of the results page.

4.
Why do some listings look different than other listings?
We have three different types of listings that appear online. Some listings have the basic information with no photos or any special contact links. Other listings would be those from the print books or from our Place-A-Listing feature. Special features such as extra photos, bold or colored text, e-mail links, featured placement and more have enhanced these listings. To find out more about our Place-A-Listing options, select "Agents: List A Home" on the upper left-hand navigation menu found on this page or on any other page at Harmon Homes .com. Finally, some agents and real estate offices have taken advantage of our most complete product, which is the Online Brochure. These agents have gone further in advertising and offering information about the properties they are listing. They are able to update their own listings online at anytime, add extra photos for those special properties or homes for sale and offer in-depth contact information. To find out more about the Online Brochure, select Demo found under Online Brochure towards the bottom of the left-hand navigation menu.

5.
Within the Harmon Homes Print Book Browse some states are grouped together and some states are missing. Why?
The states or group of states displayed in the dropdown menu of the Harmon Homes Print Book Browse are based on the actual Harmon Homes print books distributed nationwide.

6.
What is a Harmon Homes ID number?
The Harmon Homes ID number is found in the Print Books listings. It is a number that identifies an individual listing and with that number, you may search the listing online on our web site.

7.
What should a real estate agent or office do if some of their listings in the Harmon Homes Print Book are not found on Harmon Homes .com?
Any issues regarding missing listings should first be directed to your local Harmon Homes representative or you may contact a Print Representative by clicking on the "Contact A Print Representative" link found on the lower left-hand navigation menu under the headline "Magazine." If these avenues of assistance do not help you, please contact Harmon Homes .com's Customer Service Department at 888-638-8713 or by email at custserv@harmonhomes.com.

8.
Does your web site offer any free services for home listings to be advertised?
Yes, we do! Harmon Homes .com offers an agent the chance to place your listing online for free through our Agents: List a Home feature. This feature allows agents to place a listing online with a description of the home, location, pricing and contact information. This feature is also password protected for your security.

9.
Are the Harmon Homes Print Book listings found in the Browse All Listings option or just in the Harmon Homes Print Book Browse option?
Most listings advertised in the Harmon Homes Print Books are found in both the Browse All Listings and the Harmon Homes Print Book Browse. The difference simply is the way the Browse is structured as noted previously.
