Record-Breaking Growth on Harmon Media Group's eBooks Anniversary





Exactly one year after Harmon Media Group launched its interactive home search resource eBooks in March 2005, the program achieved record-breaking growth in both subscribers and pageviews.


March marked the highest month over month subscriber growth in the service's history. Nearly 9,000 new visitors to Harmon Media Group's various eBooks sites subscribed to the service, bringing the total number of subscribers to 165,301.


eBooks also achieved outstanding growth in pageviews. Over 604,000 were recorded in March, the first time that the total exceeded the 600,000 mark. This includes an increase of over 90,000 pageviews over February.

Harmon Media Group launched eBooks using the services of Advanced Publishing Corporation in March of 2005. The service puts fully interactive digital editions of all of Harmon Media Group's publications online. Subscription is free, and subscribers are alerted by e-mail when new issues of the specific magazines they select become available, even before they're available in print. Subscribers can also search each eBook by keyword and click on yellow highlighted hyperlinks to e-mail advertisers, visit advertisers' Web sites and view listing details on HarmonHomes.com.
